We’re just about to wrap up national ice cream month and we’re super excited to partner with Otis Spunkmeyer on one of our final posts. Today we’re bringing you these fun DIY No-Bake Mini Cupcake Ice Cream Cones! They are the perfect DIY ice cream themed party treat and what’s even better is, it’s super easy to make and junk free! Otis Spunkmeyer, in case you didn’t know, is a pioneer in the fresh-baked cookie business since the 1970’s and they just released a new retail line of 20 conveniently pre-packaged sweet snacks that proudly tout “No Funky Stuff”, a promise of better ingredients in its foods. I’ve loved Otis Spunkmeyer for some time, so I was thrilled to get my hands on these amazing snacks.
I was sent a variety of snacks including Otis Spunkmeyer Mini Loaf Cakes, Crème Cakes, Frosted Crème Cakes, Mini Cupcakes, and Chocolate Chunk Cookies to name a few of their awesome treats.
I decided I wanted to make one of these treats into an ice cream cone themed treat and the Mini Cupcakes seemed like the perfect choice to do a DIY with. You all know how much I love anything mini. I figured out a great no junk way to make these no-bake mini cupcake ice cream cones and here is how!
- 1 Box of Otis Spunkmeyer Mini Golden Cupcakes
- High Quality White Chocolate
- All Natural Rainbow Sprinkles
- Mini Ice Cream Cones
- Red Cinnamon Imperials (will act as cherries)
- Microwave Safe Cup
- Cooking Shears
First you melt up your white chocolate in your microwave for one to two minutes. Once your white chocolate is melted, dunk the edges of the top of your mini cones into the chocolate.
You then place one of the mini golden cupcakes upside down on top of the white chocolate dipped cone like you see below. Once your mini golden cupcake is stuck to your cone, you then cut a tiny bit off the cupcake to make it a little rounder in shape.
You then dunk the mini cupcake cone into the white chocolate and make sure to drip off any excess chocolate.
Top it off with your natural rainbow sprinkles, a red cinnamon imperials, and you’re done!

They are the simplest and easiest tasty treat to make to celebrate national ice cream month.
