Hey All!
I can’t believe we’re already gearing up for back to school time…can you? With that said, this is the time of year I begin to stock up on our favorite snacks to pack in my family’s lunches. I always include at least one of our favorite snacks into our family lunches. Our top favorite snack I have to say is Welch’s Fruit Snacks! We love the Mixed Fruit and Berries ‘n Cherries flavors the best. They come in 0.9 oz pouches in a 10 count box. The perfect amount for a great lunch treat!
Whether I’m packing Welch’s Fruit Snacks in a lunchbox, or tossing some into my purse, these are snacks the whole family can enjoy especially when we’re on the go! I love any snack that tastes amazing and is quick and easy to pack and eat. At Welch’s, they’re not only listening, they’re putting fruit center stage. After all, their Fruit Snacks are not only made with real fruit, but fruit is their first ingredient.
I mean… Who doesn’t love a yummy fruit snack? I know I have and I’ve always loved fruit snacks since I was a kid. I’m happy to pass that love onto my own family.
This year I decided to include some cute lunch notes with my Welch’s Fruit Snacks; and I wanted to share this fun DIY with you today. You can easily do this to add some fruity fun and a note of encouragement to your child this school year.
Here is how to make them!
- Welch’s Fruit Snacks
- White Cardstock
- Regular Hand Hole Punch
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Download THESE FREE PRINTABLE LUNCH NOTE CARDS!
First you print out your free printable lunch note cards onto some white cardstock.
You then cut them out with your scissors (or a paper cutter if you want perfect straight lines). You then sign them with your pen on the line, whether it’s mom or dad making the lunches.
Next, you punch a whole into the corner of the lunch note card and into the corner of the Welch’s Fruit Snack pouch. Make sure to not punch the side with the slit to open the pouch.
Cut a piece of ribbon and pull it through both holes and tie a bow.
Place it in your child’s lunch and it will be a fun surprise for them to find.
If you don’t want to punch and tie a ribbon, you can just stick the lunch notes on with some washi tape. That would be cute as well.
You can also just drop them into the lunch boxes or bags. Either way works fine!
It’s such a fun and easy way to show your child how much they mean to you. Not only are you giving them a snack they’ll love, but wishing them the best day ever at the same time.
That’s why Welch’s Fruit Snacks are my go-to snacking choice for back to school, and honestly every day. They are fun to eat and kids love the delicious taste! They are also great to incorporate into fun DIY’s like this one!
I hope you and your family enjoy these snacks and DIY as much as mine does!
