Hey All!
I don’t know if you saw the preview of this fun little DIY on my Instagram account recently, but I’m so excited to finally share this easy DIY Watermelon Cornhole Game I made! How cute is it? I’m obsessed with it as I love how it came out. It’s super easy to make and it’s the perfect game to play to have a little fun in the sun. If you’re having a watermelon themed picnic or party, it’s also the perfect themed game to play.
To Make This Fun Game All You’ll Need Is:
- A Wooden Cornhole Set Like This One HERE.
- Hot Pink/Fuchsia, Lime Green, White, and Black Vinyl. I used this set of Vinyl.
- Scissors
- Paper Cutter
- Ruler
- And Green Toss Bean Bags.
First you place the lime green vinyl on the wooden cornhole board. Make sure to lay it on as smooth as you can with out making any bubbles in the vinyl. I used a ruler to smooth out the vinyl as I laid it on the cornhole board.
You then place the hot pink/fuchsia vinyl on top of the lime green vinyl leaving about a two inch width of the green vinyl.
With your paper cutter, You then cut a one inch strip of white vinyl to create that watermelon look. Make sure you leave enough of the wood showing so you get the watermelon look!
Lastly you take your scissors and you cut out little tear drop shapes from the black vinyl for the watermelon seeds. You stick them onto the pink section of the cornhole board.
You then fold over and cut off any excess vinyl from the sides and cut out the hole from the pink vinyl from the cornhole board.
Make sure all the vinyl is smoothed out one last time with your ruler.
That’s it! You’re done. You can take this fun cornhole to the park or play in your own backyard.
It’s the most adorable summer game you can make quickly and easily to enjoy the rest of the summer with.
I hope you enjoy this colorful DIY! Have fun with your Watermelon Cornhole Toss Game folks!
