I recently had the opportunity to tour the set of General Hospital, One of the longest running soap operas ever!

I just wanted to quickly share that Port Charles will once again hold the iconic Nurses Ball gala, a fundraiser for HIV and AIDS awareness and research. As the Nurses Ball 2014 begins, several popular Port Charles residents will be noticeably absent from the Red Carpet and stuck at home watching the festivities on TV.

Old and new loves will percolate while others find themselves in awkward situations. Amidst all the romantic drama, the never-dull Nurses Ball audience will be entertained with fun performances and sexy surprises. The Nurses Ball episodes air May 8 through May 13. āGeneral Hospitalā airs MONDAY ā FRIDAY (2:00- 3:00 p.m., ET) on The ABC Television Network.

What a super neat set. I remember watching GH with my late grandmother, she loved her soaps.
I never watched this show, but my MOM watched it when I was a kidā¦I can’t believe it’s still on! Wow!
I guess I’ve really lost touch with the show over the years. I don’t know anything of the Nurse’s Ball. Sounds like fun for active viewers though!
How fun! I remember when my mom would watch this RELIGIOUSLY when I was a kid.
I am a fan. It’s the first soap I can remember my Mom watching. I’ve not always been able to watch it faithfully over the years, but do get to catch it a couple times a week. In fact, I watched it today. The nurses ball just began…. I’m hoping I can watch tomorrow. š
