Have you heard? Downy Unstopables is the official sponsor of first US tour of Grammy-winning Mexican pop-duo, Jesse & Joy. They are the new Downy ambassadors and they are kicking off their ‘Latinos Imparables’ Tour right here in California! Woot Woot! I love Jesse & Joy! They’re challenging the new Downy Unstopables scent-boosters, to see if they keep their tour outfits fresh for up to 12 weeks! The tour will start on May 22 in San Francisco, with a last stop in Dallas on June 12. Special guests will be Mexican singer Lilo.

Downy Unstopables™ is a fun and easy-to-use scent booster that is added at the start of the wash to infuse fabrics with freshness that can last up to 12 weeks in storage. The Downy team will be putting to the test the freshness power of Downy Unstopables™ by washing key wardrobe pieces from Jesse & Joy. At various stops along the tour, the garments will be pulled out from storage to show that they remain fresh, right up until the 12^th week.

Five-time Latin Grammy Award winners Jesse & Joy are a Mexican pop alternative-folk duo, who have achieved gold and platinum record sales in Mexico and established themselves as one of the most important and influential artists on the current pop scene. The Warner Music Mexico’s recording artists have cut three studio albums and were nominated for their first Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album (¿Con Quién Se Queda El Perro?) in 2013. The brother-sister duo have been awarded this past year with two Premio Lo Nuestro, one Cadena Dial award (Spain) and one Premio Telehit (Mexico).

Lilo, a Mexican singer-songwriter, will be the supporting act. Her track “Mr. Hollywood” served as the theme song for the MTV series “Popland” and MTV most recently premiered her track “Si Te Vas” on “Ultimo Año.” Lilo’s track “Cuentos de Radio” served as the anthem for the Nike campaign “Nosotras Corremos.” Starbucks/iTunes chose her song, “Ciudad Carmelo,” as their Pick of the Week in Mexico with 50,000 downloads.
