Earth Month DIY Baby Drawer Organizers + Toy Car Tunnels!

This post sponsored by Kleenex® tissue. All thoughts and opinions remain my own.

Hey All!

Earth Month is officially here and I’m always happy to discover new and fun ways to be more sustainable this time of year. I’m thankful to partner with Kleenex® today to share a fun way I’m reusing my limited edition Kleenex® tissues from Costco. Today I’m showing you how to make some DIY baby drawer organizers and toy car tunnels!

They are the perfect DIY to help me get my baby’s dresser organized for spring. You can fit anything from baby onesies to baby socks and bibs. I am going to use each box from this amazing package of Kleenex® Ultra Soft tissues to make these. I headed to my local Costco to get these. They are having a great deal—now until May 12, Costco members save $4 on America’s softest facial tissue, Kleenex®. Grab them online here.

If you’re looking for a great way to recycle your tissue boxes, here is a way to DIY and reuse those tissue boxes to do it!

  • Multiple Empty Kleenex® Ultra Soft issue Boxes
  • Scissors
  • Box Cutter
  • Wrapping Paper
  • Tape
  • Color Vinyl (Optional)

First you cut out the plastic boarder along the opening of the box. You cut the top of the box directly over that open section of the box. You leave a bit of the opening at the front bottom area to keep the clothing or accessories from falling out of your organizers.

You wrap some wrapping paper on the outside to make the organizers fun and colorful. You want your draw organizers to match your style. I love rainbow and my baby’s room is rainbow themed. That’s why I picked the wrapping papers I decorated my box organizers in.

You can be done after you’ve wrapped up your box with whatever wrapping paper you use, but I’m a bit EXTRA and I decided to line my organizers with vinyl to give it an added pop of color and to have my baby’s clothes on a smoother surface.

You are then done! You can put them one behind each other or side by side.

They make folding and organizing my son’s drawers so much easier!

I can’t wait to fill all of his drawers with these! They are so easy to make and so fun to use. You can use these for adult socks or to organize makeup as well. The possibilities are endless with these draw organizers.

Just throwing out another fun idea to do with these: you can cut out the other side and turn these into toy bridges and tunnels for your child’s toy cars!

You can cut another hole on the back end and make multiple tunnels for the cars to go through.

My boy love to push his little cars through the tissue box tunnels.

What you can do to reuse these boxes is endless!

So run out to Costco if you’re a member and grab Kleenex® tissues! You can definitely reuse these boxes in so many fun was during Earth Month!

I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
