Hey All!
Halloween is my favorite holiday and my entire family including our dogs celebrate. The dogs are a huge part of the family, so why should they be left out. Mr. Pink (Our Small Pomeranian Mix) especially loves it as he loves to dress up and walk around the neighborhood trick-or-treating with us. There are so many dogs in our building that we are seeing everyone walk around with their pups as well. I figured dogs can go trick or treating too, so why not make him his own treat bag that he can carry around and be ready for those dog trick or treaters with some Pup-Peroni Snacks and MilkBone Biscuits from Walmart. We want to make sure we’re handing out the best doggy treats there are.
I wanted to make his treat bag not only cute, but easy to make for all his doggy friends out there.
Here is what you need:
- Small gift bag
- Glue or Glue dots
- Orange, Black, and green construction paper
- Hole Punches
- Scissors
- MilkBone Biscuits
First you cut the orange to the size of the bag. I left a portion of the dots with the scalloped edge at the top out simply because I thought it was adorable. But if you have a bag that is flat you can cut it to the top of the bag so it covers the whole front of the bag.
I then glued on the orange to bag with glue dots. You can also glue it on with regular glue. You just have to wait for it to dry if you use regular glue. I then punched out 3 wholes with my circle punches. I used an inch and 2 inch punch for the eyes and mouth. I then cut two of the circles I punched into triangles for the eyes.
I then glued each on with the glue dots. I lastly cut a stem for the pumpkin out of the green paper with my scissors and glued it on. You proceed to the the same to the back. Super simple and easy to make.
Mr. Pink is loving it! He’s so ready to spread some Halloween fun with his Milkbone treats.
I’m sure the dogs in our neighborhood will be happy to see this treat bag awaiting them when they come knocking on our door this Halloween. Remember to only feed actual dog treats to those fur babies this Halloween. Chocolate is dangerous for both dogs and cats so make sure to keep it all for yourself! Keep your goodies for yourself and no sharing with Fido! Have plenty of other treats to keep your pup happy and ready to scare the night away with you.

Our dogs love Pup-Peroni and Milkbone treats, too! By the way, is there a story behind how he got the name Mr. Pink?
It’s from the movie Reservoir Dogs! It was one of the characters names in the movie and they wear black and white suits. When we went to adopt him that’s why the foster family had named him and we liked it and kept it.
That is a really cute treat bag though not as cute as your dog!
What a cutie! And that treat bag is just absolutely adorable!
Those are so cute, I need to do something special for my dog.
This is just adorable. I will have to do something similar for my two dogs for Christmas. They would love it!
I love the idea of getting poochies in the holiday spirit!
