Hey All!
Since we’re all about the Rice Krispies Treats this week, we figured we turn some into these adorable and easy to make Frankenstein Rice Krispies Treats! We’re all about using what we have around the house and hopefully you’ll have all of this already lying around the house to quickly whip a batch of these spooky little monster treats up. They would make the perfect easy treat to serve your Halloween party guests this year or for your kids to take to their classmates at school!
Who doesn’t love a little monster treat when they do the monster mash? I know I do!
Here is how to make them!
- 1 pkg. Rice Krispies Treats
- 1 pkg. Black Licorice Pieces
- 1 Can Pillsbury White Frosting
- Green Food Coloring
- Decorating Gel—Black and Red
- Round Google Eyeballs
First you mix a few drops of green coloring into the frosting and frost the top of each rice krispie treat.
Then you cut licorice pieces into about ¼ inch rounds so you have two for each head. You’ll also cut 12 licorice pieces in half lengthwise, so you have 24 pieces of hair.
Next you’ll lay 3 pieces of licorice hair at the top of each treat to make his bolt hair and then you’ll press 2 eyeball candies onto each one.
Make sure to draw a little red scar above one eyeball with the red gel and draw a mouth on each with the black gel.
Lastly, you put a dab of frosting on each bolt and press one on each side of the treats so that they line up about where the eyeballs are.
That’s it! You’re done and you’ve made a great little spooky Frankenstein treats for your Halloween party!
I hope you enjoy these Easy Frankenstein Rice Krispies Treats!
