Looking for an adorable no-carve pumpkin idea? Well look no further than this Easy Mickey Ghost Pumpkin DIY! There is a bonus Pink Mickey Pumpkin you can make as well!
Hey All!
As you all know, I’m all about the No-Carve pumpkins! They are much easier to make and less mess to clean up. When Shop Disney came out with these light up Mickey Ghost this year, I knew immediately I wanted to make a pumpkin that looked like him. I’m obsessed with Mickey Ghosts! I’ve been obsessed with them since last year. It’s all about the Mickey Ghost!
I also made a cute little Pink Mickey Pumpkin to go with him since I felt I needed to have two Mickey pumpkins this year!
Both are super easy to make and you can probably make them in less than an hour! Here is how to make them!
- Large Oval Shaped Pumpkin
- Small Round Shaped Pumpkin
- 4 Inch Round Pumpkins
- Pink Paint
- White Paint
- Lavender Paint
- Orange Paint
- Black Paint
- Hot Glue
First you paint your large pumpkin white and your small pumpkin pink. Let them dry. They tend to dry quickly especially if you put a fan on them.
You then paint the smaller 4 inch pumpkins. Two you paint white and two you paint pink. Let them dry. Once dry, you hot glue them to each of the corresponding colored larger pumpkins.
I like to draw the face onto the pumpkin with a pencil before I paint, so I have a guide to paint within. You then take your purple paint and paint on the eyes, nose and mouth like you see below onto the large white pumpkin.
You also use the orange paint to paint on some orange circle cheeks for the Mickey ghost. This is the same face the little light up Mickey Ghost has. Let him dry and he’s done!
How cute is he folks? Love him!
I can’t get over how cute he is! I think he came out perfect! I love to have the perfect mix of cute and spooky for my Halloween decor!
For the pink pumpkin you do pretty much the same to decorate the face!
Except for the pink pumpkin you solely use black paint.
You paint on the black face like you see above. You can make his features look however you’d like honestly. I didn’t make him look like his light up Mickey Pumpkin. I went for a more Kawaii look for the pink pumpkin.
Let the pink pumpkin dry and that’s it you’re done!
These will go perfectly with some spooky bats and any other Halloween decor you may have!
If you’re a Disney fan you definitely need a Mickey Ghost Pumpkin and Mickey Pumpkin as part of your Halloween decor! Hope you enjoy these fun pumpkins as much as I do!
