DIY Easy Mini Game Day Smoothie Recipe

Hey, all!

With the Super Bowl just around the corner, I need to start planning our game-day party menu. We have a big football-themed party each year, and the drinks are a big part of the party. I always start our menu planning with our drinks, because the foods we eat revolve around our drinks. This year, I’m making our menu a little healthier by making these easy mini game-day smoothies as our main drinks. They are made with the “King of Juices™”, delicious 100% DOLE® Canned Pineapple Juice, and they’re beyond tasty!

I love using pineapple juice in my drink recipes, because it is a great alternative to orange juice. It’s also great on its own or in your favorite cocktail or mocktail. Who doesn’t love a good pineapple margarita? I know I do!

In case you didn’t know, 100% DOLE® Canned Pineapple Juice is actually 100% juice! It’s also non-GMO, and naturally gluten free, which made it the number one choice to incorporate into our game-day drinks. I only want to serve the very best to my party guests and family. Pineapple juice pretty much works with every tailgating recipe I have, so it was incredibly easy to fit into my game-day menu.

DIY Easy Mini Game Day Smoothie Serve

These mini game-day smoothies are a super fun drink option, because they can be sipped slowly through a straw or you can serve them on a tray so they can be drunk almost like a shot.

You can drink one down every time your team gets a touchdown! You could also add some alcohol to these smoothies for the adults at the party if you’d like, but they are perfectly delicious alcohol free. You don’t have to have alcoholic drinks at your game-day party if you don’t want to!

Here is how you make these easy mini game-day smoothies:

DIY Easy Mini Game Day Smoothie Ingredients

This recipe makes about 9 mini game-day smoothies. You can adjust the recipe for how many you would like to make for your own game-day party.

  • 1 large can of 100% DOLE® Canned Pineapple Juice (46 oz.) or a 6 pack of (6oz) cans, divided into 2 cups.

First, you pour 1 cup of the pineapple juice into the blender. You then add the frozen mango and frozen strawberry.

You blend until the mango, strawberries, and pineapple juice are smooth and completely blended. You add another cup of pineapple juice and some more frozen fruit, and blend again. You can add as much juice and fruit as you’d like until you reach your desired taste. Once it tastes perfect to you, pour the smoothies into mini red party cups and cut down the straws to size. This will allow the straws to fit inside the cups. You place them on a football-shaped tray and serve. You can also just place them on a table for your guests to grab.

I made sure to put the smoothies into these fun mini versions of the traditional tailgating cups with green straws. They seem more themed for the big game this way. They also fit perfectly with our game-day décor.
