Easy Patriotic Fireworks Cupcakes!

Hey All!

July 4th is only a few days away and you’re going to need some tasty themed treats to celebrate with. I don’t know about you, but making some fun cupcakes is always my go to for tasty treats. Well, Ice Cream comes first, then cupcakes, and cookies! I wanted to share a fun last minute July 4th themed treat with you today, so you can enjoy as you celebrate the holiday. Check out these Easy Patriotic Fireworks Cupcakes! They are really quick and easy to make and you can even use these for any patriotic holiday celebration!

Here is how to make them!

  • Any Pillsbury Cupcake Mix
  • 1 Can of White Frosting
  • Wilton White Chocolate Candy Melts
  • 2 packages of Pop Rocks in blue and red
  • 1 package of White Hershey Kisses
  • Lifesavers Gummies in blue and red
  • Lifesavers Mints
  • Patriotic Themed Sprinkles
  • Patriotic Straws

First you make some cupcakes according to your cupcake box instructions. Let the cupcakes cool completely and then you frost the cupcakes with frosting and sprinkle with your red and blue sprinkles.

You then melt the chocolate candy melts per package directions and dip each Hershey, set them on a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Sprinkle some blue and red pop rocks on each kiss and let them dry completely. Cut each straw to desired length for your cupcakes.

Now, take a red, blue, and white Lifesaver and place onto a straw at one end. Put a dab of melted chocolate onto the blue Lifesaver and stick the kiss on top so it resembles a firework pointing in the air.

Push a firework stick into each cupcake with the kiss pointing up. That’s it! You’re ready to serve and celebrate the 4th of July!

How fun are these folks? I know I’ll be munching on one of these while I watch the fireworks with the family!

Hope you enjoy these fun and easy patriotic cupcakes as much as I do!
