Easy Witches Cauldron Ding Dongs!

Hey All!

I had some left over ding dongs and I decided to throw together these Easy Witches Cauldron Ding Dongs! They are a simple spooky treat you can throw together if you don’t feel like baking anything up this Halloween. They are a super easy no-bake treat you can serve to your Halloween guests for all those fun parties. Who doesn’t love a treat made out of Ding Dongs? I know I do!

Here is how to make them!

  • 1 box of chocolate ding dongs
  • 3 bags of green sixlets
  • 1 bag of purple sixlets
  • 1 contianer of small edible eyes
  • 1 Cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tarter
  • Leaf green, red, orange, and yellow gel food coloring
  • 4 icing pipings bags with #2 tips
  • Cookie baking sheet pan
  • Wax paper
  • Tooth pick

In a standing mixer, combine the egg whites, powder sugar, vanilla, cream of tarter and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form. You’ll do this for about 5-7 minutes to make your royal icing. You’ll then split the royal icing into 4 bowls and add a few drops of the food coloring colors into each bowl. Scoop the icing into each pipping bag and wrap a rubber band around each end.

Unwrap ding dongs and place onto the cookie sheet. Using the red piping bag, pipe on the red part of the flames on the bottom of the ding dongs.

Using the orange piping bag, pipe a orange edging around the red flames.

Repeat the same step as above with the yellow piping bag.

To make it look like flames, use a tooth pick to pull the colors together to create a fire look. Using the green piping bag pipe on the witches potion at the top of the ding dong.

Place the green and purple sixlets along the green piping at the top to make the witches brew. Add in some eye’s for a spooky look and let dry for 1 hour before enjoying.

That’s it! You’re done and you made yourself a fun Halloween treat to enjoy!

I literally threw these together, so don’t mind the photos. I figured I would still share since they are so fun to eat.
