With all the craziness of managing a family, a household, a blog and planning a wedding at the same time, there is nothing I enjoy more than to sit alone on the couch and enjoy a nice glass of wine. At the end of the night, I like to spread out my favorite cheeses and crackers and take a much needed rest. I’ve been tasting a lot of wines lately in order to pick the right wines for our wedding.
I’ve become a wine connoisseur of sorts and I discovered Pinot Grigio is my favorite kind of wine. You can imagine how thankful I was to have the opportunity to try Brancott Estate Wines “Flight Song.” I luckily received their Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc to sample. This wine tastes delicious and it allows me to have a relaxing sip of wine without worrying about the calories.
Flight Song Wine is 20% lighter in calories compared to their 2012 Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. Since I’m getting married, I am on a diet that I don’t want to break with my wine. I typically look for how many calories I’m going to take in as well as the taste in a glass of wine I’m sipping.
These wines are full of clean crisp flavors! The Pinot Grigio from Brancott Estates “Flight Song” not only has that great pear flavor known of a Pinot Grigio (thanks to the nashi pears that are used to make it), but it also has hints of lemon which give it a fresh citrus undertone as you sip. It’s one of the best Pinot Grigio wines I’ve ever tasted. It’s very light and refreshing! It’s the perfect wine to sit back and relax too. It’s definitely going to be a staple at our wedding!
The Sauvignon Blanc was also delicious as it has a more fruity and sweeter taste to it! I’ll definitely be enjoying a cold glass of these refreshing wines during the upcoming warm summer months!

I love wine and am debating having a glass right now. I’m going to have to find this kind and check it out.
I’ve been trying to like wine. 🙂 I like a real sweet wine and don’t like the taste of alcohol so it’s hard to find a wine I like… I’d like to give this one a try.
The Sauvignon Blanc sounds like it’s right up my alley. I enjoy the sweet wines.

This sounds like a wonderful brand! I’m not much of a drinker, but I do enjoy a glass or two of wine once in a blue moon. It’s a great way to relax and unwind.
I am not a huge wine drinker but these sound really good! Always nice to have a quite night at home!
