Can you believe Christmas is Monday! We’re sharing a last minute drink idea for those holiday festivities today! Check out this tasty and Festive Cranberry Old Fashioned Cocktail! It’s super easy to make and great to serve during a happy hour to adults before your Christmas dinners. Who doesn’t love a nice festive cocktail? I know I do!
Here is how to make it!
- 1 oz. bourbon
- 1 oz. cranberry vodka
- 1 tbsp. simple syrup
- 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
- 2 dashes Angostura orange bitters
- Orange slices
- two (2) green maraschino cherries
This cocktail is not shaken but stirred. In a cocktail shaker add orange bitters and simple syrup.
Top with 1/2 cup of fresh ice. Add bourbon, cranberry vodka, and cranberry juice.
Stir cocktail with a long-handled cocktail spoon. Stir cocktail with a long-handled cocktail spoon. Strain into a standard whiskey glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a round of orange and green maraschino cherry and serve.
It’s the perfect fun and festive holiday drink. Remember you have to be 21 years or older to drink this drink and remember to never drink and drive especially during the holiday season! I always like to remind folks!
