I don’t know about you, but I’ve been on the hunt for a new car ever since our bubbly baby was born. We need a new family car in 2019! It’s a goal of mine to obtain for the new year. Our cars are very old and not the most family friendly cars. We have plenty of research to do before we buy a car. I want to make sure we find the perfect car to fit our lifestyle. Thankfully, Kelley Blue Book has curated a list called the Best Buy Awards that includes a variety of categories that will help us find the best car for our family. I always consult the Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buy Awards when we’re in search of a new car. This years awards feature the 2019 winners.
I want a car that is fuel efficient, has great safety features, a good amount of space for our growing family, and has great reviews. I can find most of this info in the Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards of 2019. They showcase a variety of the cars I’m interested in. The awards share amazing expert vehicle evaluations and testing of nearly every new vehicle available in America. They essentially have all the research I’m looking for in one convenient place. The awards also include an analysis of a vehicle pricing/transaction prices, 5-Year Cost to Own data (which includes depreciation, insurance, maintenance, financing, fuel, fees and taxes for new cars), consumer reviews and ratings, and vehicle sales/retail sales information.
I was looking into the Honda Odyssey and the Honda CR-V, which thankfully both made the list. The Odyssey is the classic family style car while the CR-V is a compact SUV. Both get great mileage and active safety and have driver-assistance features like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. I want a car that has lots of features to keep us safe on the roads and these two cars I know will do this. Safety is my top priority when searching for a vehicle, so I’m happy to see these two cars made the list and have great reviews.
I’m going to continue to look into these cars in order to make sure I choose the car that will suit our needs the most. With my job, I’m always on the road to an event or traveling to some location. I also have to travel far to get to see family and friends. I need a car that’s going to be able to last us some time and be able to keep up with our on-the-go lifestyle. I know with the help of Kelley Blue Book I’ll be able to narrow down my car choices.

It is a great reference guide! It’s hard enough to make a decision on what to buy, it’s great to have a reliable source to help out.
We always use Kelley Blue Book when searching for a new vehicle. My daughter will be getting a new car when she graduates college in 2 years, so we’ll be using them once again when it’s time to make that purchase.
I have friends who totally recommend Kelley Blue Book. They said it helped them find the perfect car for their needs and their budget too. Right now we are not in the market for a new vehicle, but if we get to that point, I will check Kelley Blue Book first before we decide.
