Hey All!
This week we had the amazing opportunity to attend a zoom interview with Vincent Martella (āPhineasā),Ā Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (creators/executive producers). It was my first Zoom interview for a Disney+ film and I was beyond thrilled to get the opportunity to cover a Disney film again. It’s been far too long! I miss press junkets/interviews so much! I’m thrilled to get back into my interview groove with the amazing new Disney+ hit animated film Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe! We’ve been huge fans of the show since it was released and are thrilled to see this incredible new film being released for everyone to enjoy on Disney+. All the original cast and filmmakers are back for this out of this world adventure of Phineas and Ferb. We saw the film and it’s truly fun for the whole family. We know what we’re watching again on Disney+ when it’s released on August 28th!
During the zoom interview we were allowed to take a screen shot with Vincent Martella (āPhineasā),Ā Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (creators/executive producers). I of course had my Andy’s Room Toy Story background! I had to keep it all Disney for the interview. During the interview they shared a lot of fun facts about the movie. They thankfully answered a few of my questions. Some of which included how they decided when was a good time to make the film, why Candace is the main focus of the movie, and why is she in space.
They also answered my question on what message they hope kids will get from seeing the film. It was amazing to have the opportunity to hear what they had to say about this incredible new journey of Phineas and Ferb!

Stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb, their older sister Candace, Perry the Platypus and the Danville gang are back together again in “Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe,” an out-of-this-world animated adventure from Disney Television Animation. Executive-produced by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (creators and executive producers of the long-running Emmy Award-winning series “Phineas and Ferb”), the movie centers on Phineas and Ferb as they set out across the galaxy to rescue Candace, who after being abducted by aliens, finds utopia in a far-off planet, free of pesky little brothers.
Be sure to tune into Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe on Disney+ on August 28th! It’s such a fun movie and if you’re a fan of these characters (like I am), you definitely don’t want to miss it!
