Hey All!
As you all know I recently went on back to back adventures in July. They ended with an epic adventure to San Diego Comic Con in the 2017 Mazda CX-3! The amazing folks at Mazda were kind enough to partner with us and loan us this amazing car to try out and take on our trip to Comic Con. It was our official car of Comic Con and it was such an awesome car to take our road trip in. The CX-3 is a fun and great driving subcompact SUV. Subcompact means it’s not quite as big as an SUV, but it looks like a mini version. The CX-3 had everything we needed for a great drive and it also was awesome on saving us gas. This car gets 25 MPG city/30 MPG highway.
It had cd player and XM Satellite radio to listen to our favorite nerdy jams on the way to San Diego.
It had a push button start, which I always love in a car.
And controls right on the steering wheel, so you can control your music and answer a call through the speaker system as you drive. It allows you to be hands free as you talk, which is amazing. Safety first people. Not talking or texting while driving folks!
One of my favorite channels that we listened to as we drove was this 90’s themed station.
We got there with plenty of gas to spare and it was a smooth and easy drive. We left at 4am, so we could check into the hotel and get a parking space before things got too crazy.
As you can see it fit all our bags and luggage easy!
Comic Con was another adventure in itself. It seems to be more so each year. Every time we go back it’s bigger and crazier than the year before. I don’t know why we still go other than the fact that we love it and we always have an epic time.
This year included getting to sit on both the iron throne and stone throne thanks to HBO!
We scored a bunch of swag from Netflix for Stranger Things and the Defenders…
And I got to sit on Will Byers couch! How amazing is that!
I also got to dress up like the tick and see exclusive content and interview so many amazing people. It was another Comic Con for the record books.
Thanks so much to Mazda for providing us with this amazing 2017 Mazda CX-3, so we could have our epic Comic Con adventure.
It was the perfect car and the perfect trip!
