Hey All!
It’s back to school time and it’s time to stock up for those after school snacks my kids love to eat when they get home. I pack lunches for our kids, but sometimes they eat their lunches too early in the day at school, so by the time to make it home from school they are hungry! One of our favorite back to school snacks are #HotPocketSnacks!
We were sadly all out of Hot Pockets, So I decided to grab our grocery list and coupons and meet my fiance’ after work to go shopping for some. We headed over to our closet Walmart to grab a few Hot Pockets to surprise the kids when they got home from school. I also needed to grab a few other things we needed to get for breakfast and snack ideas for school lunches.
Hot Pockets can been of course be found in the frozen Entree aisle at Walmart. I needed to get a few things in frozen foods section of the store, so we spent some time there. You can see my entire shopping trip in my Google Plus Album. I wanted to pick up a few varieties of Hot Pockets that my kids love during my shopping trip, but I was sad to see that all the rest of the parents must have beat me to the idea as our favorite flavors of Hot Pockets we empty on the shelves. I had to get two of their second best flavors of Hot Pockets and one of their most favorite flavors! The kids in our house aren’t too picky of eaters thankfully.
You can imagine which is their favorite flavor of Hot Pocket. It’s the Pizza flavor of course! Thankfully they had plenty of pizza flavor on the shelf. We all love Hot Pockets in our home because they are quick and easy to make, they taste great, and they are a great value for your dollar. My teen loves them as it’s probably one of the quickest meals he can make for himself when he is alone after school and the kids love them since they are fun to eat! Anything that comes in a fun packet like a pastry and they can eat using their hands they love.
As soon as we got home and our teen got home from school he immediately wanted to devour them all, but I let him have just one as an after noon snack and he chose the Philly Cheese Steak flavor and not the pizza flavor that I thought he would.
When I have my niece and nephew staying with us this week I’m sure they will love seeing that they have their favorite snacks are in our freezer as well. Hot Pockets really are a great after school snack or even a great lunch idea as well.
For more information about Hot Pockets visit them on Twitter and Facebook or visit them on the Walmart website!

I just tried the pretzel variety and they were so good! I’m thinking some Walmart’s have a hard time keeping them all in stock!
