I was invited to a media event for Grinchmas. All Opinions are my own.
Hey All!
The holidays have returned to Universal Studios Hollywood and with that is the return of the holiday spectacular Grinchmas!
Grinchmas returns with a “Who-bilation” throughout the theme park, featuring The Grinch and his faithful dog Max, a lively performance at the original “Who-ville” movie sets aboard the world famous Studio Tour and a soaring “Grinchmas” tree at the heart of the park’s all-new, visually spectacular Universal Plaza.
“Grinchmas” begins Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2013 and continues on weekends through December 15, then daily from December 20 through December 31. “Grinchmas” is included in the price of park admission.
I attended an early preview and got to witness the veteran multi-talented actress, singer, author talk show host and philanthropist, Florence Henderson be honored with the “Who-Manitarian of the Year.” The actress has conquered every aspect of entertainment, firmly establishing herself as a leading pop culture icon in the role of ‘Carol Brady’ from the much beloved sitcom, “The Brady Bunch.”
Check out the video below of her receiving here award:
As a long-time ambassador for City of Hope, Ms. Henderson will be honored with the “Who-Manitarian of the Year” Award presented by The Grinch and Max the Dog to officiate Universal Studios Hollywood’s merry “Grinchmas” holiday season. City of Hope is recognized worldwide as a leader in compassionate patient care, innovative medical science and translational research, rapidly turning laboratory breakthroughs into promising new therapies.
Families from L.A. Family Housing, an organization dedicated to assisting people transition out of homelessness and poverty through supportive services will join in the “Who-biliation” as invited guests. L.A. Family Housing is a beneficiary of Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Discover A Star” Foundation.
The presentation of the “Who-Manitarian of the Year” Award to Florence Henderson signals the start of Universal Studios Hollywood’s family-friendly “Grinchmas” holiday celebration.
You can see the amazing Who-bilation in this video below:

So fun! I don’t think we’ll get over to Universal this season…I do love the parks though.
Aw man, I want to go to Whooville too! LOL! I have never been to Grinchmas but I’ve always wanted to!
We saw this show in Orlando last week and it is fabulous!
Aw man! We just watched the movie today, and my son would have loved seeing some of the sets and characters in person. But we won’t be in southern California again until late January. 🙁
I’ve never been…. looks like so much fun!
I would even think this is cool, so I imagine that my kids would freak out if they could see it. 🙂
