Hey All!

You all know I go to Comic Con with my family every year. One of my favorite booths at Comic Con is the Hallmark booth! Yes Hallmark is always at Comic-Con and they always have an exclusive Keepsake Ornament which I get every year! This year thankfully Hallmark wanted to give you all the opportunity to get in on the Comic-Con fun. While at Comic-Con, Hallmark will showcase its newest Comic-Con-exclusive Keepsake Ornaments and unveil its new comic book and pop culture Keepsake Ornaments, featuring characters from The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, Twilight, Madagascar 3, Brave and more.

Hallmark celebrating its fifth year at Comic-Con , Hallmark will provide more than 100,000 attendees access to Comic-Con-exclusive Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, visits with a Keepsake Ornament artist and sneak peeks of products to be released in 2013.

During the convention, held July 11-15, 2012, Hallmark will sell limited quantities of the following Keepsake Ornaments:

• 4-LOM and Zuckuss: This two-pack features the criminal droid 4-LOM and Gand tracking expert Zuckuss from “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™.” Created exclusively for event sales, 4-LOM and Zuckuss are the last bounty hunters depicted in the film to become Keepsake Ornaments. Limited run of 1,000 sets ($35 per set).

• A Human Hero: This original sculpture is inspired by the 1986 comic-book masterpiece “The Dark Knight Returns.” This gritty adventure helped to establish the more realistic and complex portrayal of the Dark Knight in modern media. Limited run of 875 Keepsake Ornaments ($25 each).

• Cylon Centurion: In the classic 1978 TV series “Battlestar Galactica™”, Cylon Centurions relentlessly pursue the “ragtag” survivors of the twelve colonies of humanity across the reaches of space with a single goal: destroy all humanoids. This gold-painted variant of last year’s popular ornament is Hallmark’s first Comic-Con exclusive to feature sound. Limited run of 750 Keepsake Ornaments ($25 each).

“We’re excited to return to Comic-Con and to reward our passionate fans with exclusive Keepsake Ornaments and first-looks at new products,” said Beth Dorr, associate merchandise manager for Keepsake Ornaments. “This year, we’re bringing back fan-favorite activities, such as daily pin giveaways, and offering new activities, including autograph sessions with a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament artist.

Visitors to Hallmark’s booth in the Lucasfilm Pavilion will be able to meet and receive free autographs from Robert Chad, one of the Hallmark artists behind the 4-LOM and Zuckuss Keepsake Ornaments.

Who am I kinding. Hallmark pretty much just has to put the words Star Wars on anything and I’ll buy it. It’s sad but true and any geek Star Wars fan can relate. It’s a sick obsession to have.

Also making a return appearance are fan favorites hoops&yoyo. Creator Bob Holt will be in the booth with the hoops&yoyo characters, Thursday, July 12 (4-6 p.m.); Friday, July 13 (1-3 p.m.); and Saturday, July 14 (1-3 p.m.).

Attendees also can view many of the new 2012 Keepsake Ornaments, including Edward and Bella’s Wedding and The Amazing Spider-Man™, as well as get a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2013.

A series of collectible buttons featuring five Keepsake Ornaments also will be available for fan pick-up. The series features five designs, with a limited quantity of one design given away each day of Comic-Con.

Hallmark gave me an AMAZING Comic-Con gift pack for review and to showcase to all of you consisting of everything seen below!

Which is one of Hallmark’s 2012 Star Wars Keepsake Ornaments which is The Intercepter space ship!

The detail on it is amazing and it even makes sounds! I’m a geek so I like to keep things in mint condition and didn’t want to mess with it, but maybe on Christmas time I’ll put the batteries in and hear it in all it’s glory. It’s freaken awesome.

They also sent the new Recordable Storybook title  “You’re a Hero! All the Ways You Save the Day” which is one of the coolest books of this type to be printed. 2nd and 3rd and 4th place would of course go to Winnie the Pooh, Charlie Brown, and Frosty of course which we all have, but the colors and the way this book is written is so clever and so vivid!

And all the DC comics strutting their stuff is such amazing colors. I had to literally fight the boys in my house for this book just to be able to show it off to you guys!

Looking for a way to celebrate the New Dark Night Movie and Comic Con? Read this book as a family and take it with you to Comic Con and record your memories!

And last but not least they sent me a couple of Hallmark’s super COOL  and new Text Bands, which allow kids to exchange electronic messages just by bumping fists. It’s like the beepers of my day making a come back except these go on your wrist and you don’t need a phone number to call to send the message. Here is how the messages look in action in the video below.

And the controls are on the side like a watch. It’s super easy to use and your kids will love them!

I can’t wait to see all the amazing stuff being showcased by Hallmark at Comic Con! I love their booth so much and I’m also very protective of that booth since I never forget one year some scum stole some of the ornaments from the booth and it was just so sad that anyone would do that. Some people have no couth at these conventions I swear. I digress…
