Hey All!

With Halloween around the corner, I wanted to take the opportunity to share this fun Halloween Pumpkin Cocktail Shot Recipe. I’ll be making it and these adorable DIY Chocolate Shot Glasses for our Halloween party this year. I love them as they are relatively low in calories thanks to this recipe that includes Sweet ‘N low zero calorie sweetener. If you don’t eat the whole shot glass it’s even lower in calories of course. The chocolate is just to as a fun sweet accent to the cocktail shot. Sweet ‘N Low lets you enjoy these sweet low calorie cocktails for Halloween with out the guilt. You can enjoy the sweetness you love without the extra calories!

  • 2 Bottles of Sparkling Pumpkin Cider
  • 1/2 Cup Bourbon
  • 1/2 Cup of Ginger Ale
  • 2 Packets of Sweet ‘N Low
  • Plastic Cake Decorating Pipping Bags
  • Orange Chocolate Candy Melts
  • Spinkles
  • Halloween Shot Glass Mold
  • Ice
  • Long stirring spoon

You can get all or most of these ingredients and supplies on Amazon or at your local grocery store.

How-To-DIY-Recipes

First you pour melt your orange chocolate candy melts in a microwave safe bowl in your microwave for one minute. You stir the chocolate and then put it back in for another twenty to thirty minutes. You then scoop your melted chocolate into your Plastic Cake Decorating Pipping Bags and then pipe the chocolate into your your Halloween Shot Glass Mold. You tap the whole mold on your counter to make sure the chocolate makes it way to the bottom of the mold. Put the shot glass mold in your freezer so they harden quickly.

You then move on to making your cocktail mixture. You pour the 2 Bottles of Sparkling Pumpkin Cider, 1/2 Cup Bourbon, and 1/2 Cup of Ginger Ale into a pitcher with ice.

You stir those first three ingredients until some foam begins to form. You then pour in the 2 Packets of Sweet ‘N Low one at a time. You stir the mixture once again. You can add more pumpkin cider, bourbon, or ginger ale until you find your desired taste.

You then take your shot glasses out of the freezer once they have hardened. You dip them into some of the left over melted orange chocolate candy melts and then dip them into sprinkles. This creates your sprinkled rim.
