Hard Candy Brings Back Memories! #CBias

Hey All!

When I was a kid I used to love playing Make up with my mother. I would spend hours going through her make up and sometimes messing some of it up. So she finally got tired of me using her make up and decided to take me shopping for some make up of my own. Some of the first make up she would buy me was Hard Candy Makeup! It started for me with their nail polishes…

Then their lip glosses and make up kits.

I would beg my mom to take me to Macy’s every weekend to get some Hard Candy makeup! Back then it used to be sold in Macys. It was pretty pricey too, but I loved the rings that would come on the nail polishes and I’m so happy to see that they are still around today since I love to wear fun make up! I love it when a color has a fun name to it or when it has some shimmer. Wearing fun make up keeps me feeling young and vibrant and reminds me of when I was a kid playing with my mother’s own make up. Hard Candy is one of those fun cosmetic lines that has a fun variety of products that are both fun and tasteful, so I love to wear them to this day!

It’s now sold at Walmart and they still have all the fun colors and nail polishes I loved when I was a teenager. I recently went on a shopping spree and you can see my full shopping trip HERE on my GOOGLE PLUS ALBUM. It’s always fun to shop for make up since then you can go home and play with it all and see all the fun looks you can come up with.

I couldn’t wait to get home and see how I could make my eyes..

Lips…

And nails look with all my new products!

I think I scored some amazing colors that I can wear for a girls night out! Painting my nails with the Hard Candy nail polish in particular was so much fun as it brought back all the memories of me as a teenager with a Hard Candy ring on each finger and painting my nails and toes. Yes that is how I would paint my nails when I was young! I love playing with make up even as an adult. It lets me have some me time away from the family and keeps me feeling young and young at heart!

Do you still play with make up and what’s your favorite brand?
