Hey All!

A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to attend and speak at the Hispanicize Conference. While there I also got to attend an amazing luncheon thanks to Latina Mom Bloggers and P&G for their “Ya Probaste Esto?”(Have You Tried This Yet?) campaign. While I enjoyed my delicious meal, I had the opportunity to hear about the latest spring and summer fashion trends from celebrity stylist Irma Martinez.

Irma shared with us her top tips & tricks to help the every day Latina prepare themselves, their family and their home for the warmer months. She also gave us her favorite A-list spring trends.

One tip that she gave us that stood out to me was to shop for your body type and what makes you feel good. If you don’t feel good in your clothing you won’t look good in them. You shouldn’t let your clothes wear you!

Colors like Coral, Turquoise, and Emerald are the hot colors for this summer.

She also said skinny jeans work well with every body type, especially curvy Latina’s like me. Skinny jeans give curves a great shape. I was glad she said this as I was wearing my turquoise polka dot skinny jeans that day. I felt so in fashion!

Irma also revealed how she simplifies her daily routine with innovative ¿Ya Probaste Esto? products from P&G. One tip she gave was filling a napkin or baggie with Downey Unstopables and putting it inside your drawers with your clothing and it will keep your clothing smelling nice and fresh like it was fresh out of the dryer.

Another product that is also my favorite that she mentions was the Swiffer Wet Jet! She stated how it makes cleaning your home so much easier! I love anything Swiffer! I actually have all their products and can’t clean our home with out them.

P&G was kind enough to give me all the amazing products she mentioned that day to try for myself. My other favorite products have to be Charmin Toilet Paper since it is one of the best toilet papers that doesn’t fall apart easily. I also I hoard toilet paper as we go through it quickly in our house. I also love my Venus razor as I use it every other day to keep my legs and body smooth and hair free! And last but not least the Crest 3D White Whitestrips are the perfect product for whitening your teeth. Everyone looks much better with a nice bright white smile.

To get my summer style going and to try out some of the tips Irma gave me the kind folks at P&G gave me a gift card to shop at my home away from home Target. I was able to find these fun turquoise ankle length pants with a navy turquoise with matching chevron print turquoise wallet/phone case! Such a cute outfit for the summer!

Both these outfits make me look and feel great! Target had so many great outfits and I surely was following Irma’s tips as I shopped.
