Having Holiday Fun At The Queen Mary Chill 2016!

Hey All!

I recently had the amazing opportunity to check out CHILL at the Queen Mary. It’s become a holiday tradition to go to CHILL and we have a great time every time. This year we were lucky to get an an ELF (fast pass) tickets and  2 tickets for Stocking Shop so we could decorate our own stockings. It’s a fun filled holiday event. This year is a little different as there are no ice sculptures sadly, but it’s still a must see event with their NEW Light up the night interactive and digitally immersive Alice in Winterland.

It’s a 14,000-square foot walk-through adventure. You experience larger than life lanterns as you venture with Alice and friends into the Hall of Doors, the White Rabbit’s Kitchen, Mad Hatter’s Work Shop, the infamous Tea Party, Hedge Maze, Caterpillar Garden and the newest addition to the beloved story, Queen of Diamonds.

These are just a few photos of the awesomeness you will see…

Alice is inside ready to guide you along…

My favorite was the tea time area, as it was the tasty treats area.

Can you tell I’m ready for the holidays and having a blast?!

Yes, I danced and skipped through the experience.

When you walk through this awesomely colorful area, it leads you to the area where you can snap some photos with the Queen of Diamonds.

How lovely is the Queen of Diamonds?! Love it!

Since we don’t get snow in Los Angeles, this is the only time I get to go tubing! I love it! You can grab a tube and barrel down the 150-foot, two-story Glacier Glide Tubing Run.

If you’re an adult 21 and over, you can also visit the NEW Experience a one-of-a-kind interactive bar with RFID technology featuring Winterland Vodka Flights and Magical Martinis in the all-new Magic Mushroom Martini Bar.

Outside of Alice in Wonderland, you can lace up some ice skates and glide upon The Looking Glass Rink, a 6000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink under the stars and visit the North Pole Post to pen letters to Santa.

You can also test your trimming skills with Crafty the Elf, by trimming your very own stocking at Santa’s Stocking Stop.

This was one of our favorite activities and you get to take your stocking home. You essentially purchase your stockings and then decorate.

You can also enjoy the ultimate hot coco in a souvenir mug at the Cocoa toppings bar and nestle up with Mrs. Claus for story time at Mrs. C’s Sips and Stories. Snow flurries fall throughout the day at: 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm.

Stroll through Holly Grove and take photos in front of the larger than life CHILL Christmas Tree while taking in the sounds of the season on North Pole Point Stage.

Capture memories in Claus Cottage for pictures with the big man in red himself.

Decorate Gingerbread with Ginny the Gingerbread and The Singing Baker hourly in the life size Gingerbread House.

Those are just a few of our favorite happenings going on at The Queen Mary Chill. There is even more than that going on. You’ll just have to check it ALL out for yourself if you’re in the Southern California area for the holidays. It’s a must see holiday event!

It runs until January 8, 2017 at The Queen Mary located at 1126 Queens Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90802!
