Hey All!
On this Wedding Wednesday I wanted to share a fun idea on how to make a fabulous inexpensive table setting for your wedding. 99% of everything used to make this table setting is from Party City believe it or not! It’s not only America’s largest specialty party goods store, it’s also a great place to find decor if you’re having a DIY, unconventional, or themed wedding. Party City is your one stop shop providing amazing products for the big day.
As we’re having a Muppet and Star Wars themed wedding, we’ve been spending a lot of time at Party City. I’ve been playing with table settings for our own wedding. Our colors are rainbow mixed with gold and some Star Wars themed colors. Party City had everything we needed to pull off a fabulous table setting. No one would think this entire table setting you see below would cost under $25!
It’s not only chic and sophisticated, it’s also fun.
You can pull off this place setting with all of the following:
You can make your own confetti with a large whole punch or you can save time and use either Round Confetti or Paper Confetti from Party City.
White Dinner Plates from Party City
Robin’s Egg Blue Dot Paper Favor Bags from Party City
Gold Dinner Napkins From Party City
Turquoise Ribbon From Party City
And some gold cutlery. You can either rent some for your wedding or use this Gold Cutlery Set from Party City.
You simply place confetti all over a table to cover the table cloth. You then place one gold charger on the table. Then place one white dinner plate onto the gold charger. You then fold the gold napkin into a triangle and place the napkin inside the Robin’s Egg Blue Dot Paper Favor Bags. Place the napkin inside the favor bag onto the white dinner plate.
Lastly you place your cutlery onto the plate and wrap the plate with your turquoise ribbon.
That’s it, you’re done and you have a fabulous table setting. It’s simple, it’s unique, it’s chic, and most importantly it’s easy and cost efficient for your wedding. This is what we’re doing for our wedding because if you don’t know weddings are expensive. You can have a chic and classy wedding with out spending a fortune.
You can really save a lot of money if you do things yourself and shop for your wedding at places like Party City!
