How To Make A Mean Girls Burn Book Sheet Cake!

Celebrate Mean Girls Day October 3rd with this Mean Girls Burn Book Sheet Cake! The perfect cake to enjoy plotting against the plastics with!

Hey All!

Happy Mean Girls Day! I celebrate Mean Girls Day every year! The movie is one of my favorite movies ever and I love to make a cute themed treat or DIY in honor of this special day. Today I thought I would make a fun sheet cake to enjoy as I watch the movie today. Check out this fun and easy to make Mean Girls Burn Book Sheet Cake! This cake is one of the easiest and most fun cakes I’ve ever made. You can make it in under an hour or less.

What I love about sheet cakes is you can decorate the cakes right inside the pan. You don’t have to take the cake out of the pan. It’s like a blank canvas to just decorate after it cools from out of the oven. I’m sure Glen Coco would approve!

I hope you think it’s really GROOL aka Great and Cool!

Here is how to make it!

First you preheat your oven to 305 degrees. You then grease and line your sheet cake pan, so your cake doesn’t stick to the pan. You then mix and bake your funfetti cake according to the cake mix box instructions. Let the cake completely cool and then ice the cake with your pink frosting using an offset spatula. You can use store bought or make your own pink frosting.

Place pipping tip and coupler on your black, red and white icing tubes. First draw the mouth with the red icing in the center of the sheet cake. You then draw the black boxes and then the white boxes. They can all vary in size and can be slightly off center.

Use the black and white icing to write out the letters for the words Burn Book onto the boxes.

Then use your black icing to draw on the decorations onto the cake.

Make some squiggly lines and boxes and hearts with your black icing around the left edges of the book and around the top letters.

Some also have arrows pointing right…

And some arrows pointing towards the letters…

Once all that is drawn onto your cake, you’re done!

Pull out all your Mean Girls themed gear and enjoy this amazing Mean Girls Burn Book Sheet Cake!

This cake is super easy to make and it doesn’t have to be perfect to still be amazing and cute!

The cake baking is what takes the longest. The decorating probably took me 15-20 minutes max to do! Super easy! I free handed all the pipping on this cake. I wanted to solely use mainly frosting and icing on this cake.

Hope you love this fun and easy to make Mean Girls Burn Book sheet cake just as much as I do!  It’s so FETCH! I’m definitely making FETCH happen with this cake! You go Glen COCO!

Be sure to make this fun cake, gossip about your friends, and watch Mean Girls today!
