I Had A Blast Celebrating 75 Years Of Nestlé Crunch! #happybirthdaycrunch

I’m trying to be good and not eat a lot of sugar or candy, but I don have to make the exception some times when I’m invited to celebrate a very sweet occasion like Nestlé Crunch turning 75! Can you believe it! I recently went to an event at Sweet E’s Bake shop here in Los Angeles, where Nestlé Crunch officially kicked off a month-long competition amongst the nation’s top bakeries to determine the best Nestlé Crunch-inspired birthday treat, in honor of Nestlé Crunch candy bar’s 75th birthday.

I was there to try the amazing Nestlé Crunch-inspired birthday treats and learn the names of the award-winning 15 bakeries vying to win the Nestlé Crunch 75th Birthday Showdown!

“As an all-American treat invented and still made today in the USA, Nestlé Crunch is thrilled to celebrate its first 75 years with our fans and some of the nation’s top bakeries,” said spokesperson Tricia Bowles of Nestlé USA Confections & Snacks. “There’s no sweeter way to celebrate this milestone than by having award-winning bakeries and pastry chefs create new Crunch-inspired treats, just like many of our fans do at home every day. And we’re challenging you to pick your favorite, one that will be named the ultimate Nestlé Crunch treat worthy of any celebration.”

• Kickass Cupcakes, Boston
• Lutz Bakery, Chicago
• Molly’s Cupcakes, Chicago
• Sift Cupcake + Dessert Bar, San Francisco
• Society Bakery, Dallas
• Sweet E’s Bake Shop, Los Angeles, Calif.
• Sweet Mandy B’s, Chicago
• Three Brothers Bakery, Houston

My favorite definitely had to be the Nestlé Crunch Peanut Butter Brownie from Sweet E’s. It was delish!
