I try to keep my blog as a place for people to come and enjoy and have fun. I like to keep the posts up beat and fun all the time, but I just had to share the beautiful tribute image Eric Goldberg created in honor of Robin Williams I was just forwarded from the fabulous folks at Disney D23. As I’m sure you all know, Eric was the Supervising Animator on Genie for Aladdin and Robin Williams was the voice of the Genie in Aladdin. I’ll Miss The Genie In The Lamp! Robin made the perfect Genie with his electric fast wit and over the top personality!
Aladdin was one of my favorite Disney animated movies as a child. I used to sing “A whole new world” and “You aint never had a friend like me” at the top of my lungs.
I hope Robin knows where ever he may be that he brought joy and laughter to so many and I pray he’s found the peace and laughter that he himself needed.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
I thank Robin Williams for the many fond memories I have watching his films as a child and with my family today.
