Hey All!
I’m super excited to be able to have the opportunity to see the amazing documentary One Life! It opens February 21, 2013 in over 450 theaters across the nation for a limited engagement. This special Nature Adventure of a film is narrated by Daniel Craig and this is the first time the actor has lent his voice to a documentary feature. It’s going to be amazing! I’m seeing it tomorrow and I can’t wait to tell you all how it is. I love watching all the wonders of Nature on film. It really captures all the wonders that are out there in this world. Check out the trailer for the film below.
Fabulous right? Can you believe this movie was more than 4 years in the making and filmed over 3,000 days across every continent and in every habitat.
It includes 15 “filming firsts” including the first complete sequence (including aerials, underwater and topside shots) of humpback whale mating contest, “the heat run,” 3 cheetahs hunting co-operatively (they generally hunt independently), and the first use of new camera tracking system “yogi cam” to track elephants.
It’s going to be one amazing piece of cinematic history on the big screen! I can’t wait to see it!
We also got the amazing Documentary Africa on Bluray and we can’t wait to see that as well! It’s going to be a Documentary weekend!
For more info on this amazing film and to find a theater near you so you too can check out this amazing film visit www.onelifeonscreen.com.
Also Join me at the #BBCEarth Twitter Party being held on Monday, February 25 from 6:00-6:30 PM PST. All are welcome to attend.
Stay tuned for my thoughts on both films!
