Hey All!
I recently had the amazing opportunity to attend the fabulous red carpet opening of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood! I also got to attend the Eyegore Awards. It’s a ceremony honoring individuals for creating Hollywood’s most indelible and terrifying moments in the field of horror.
The recipients were Greg Nicotero, Executive Producer, Director, Special Effects Supervisor were joined by cast members from AMC’s critically-acclaimed, Golden Globe-nominated, Emmy Award-winning TV series The Walking Dead.
Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler we’re given an award presented by Sharon Osbourne, Jason Blum, Producer of Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, and prolific actor and producer, Danny Trejo, star of Machete and the upcoming sequel Machete Kills, and an best ensemble cast award went to the AMC series “The Walking Dead.” It was accepted by cast member Melissa McBride.

I can’t believe I chatted with some of the cast of The Walking Dead! I was totally geeking out! It’s my favorite show. I also can’t believe I spoke to Bruce Campbell! He’s a living legend in my book! Love him!
Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off “Halloween Horror Nights” with its annual Eyegore Awards. “Halloween Horror Nights” brings together the sickest minds in horror to immerse guests in a living, breathing, three-dimensional world of terror. Mazes include: “The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven,” based on AMC’s Golden Globe®-nominated and Emmy® Award-winning TV series; “Evil Dead: Book of the Dead,” based on Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s chilling remake of the cult classic; “Black Sabbath: 13 3D,” inspired by the darkest lyrics from the legendary rock band’s 43-year history of Heavy Metal music, “Insidious: Into the Further” based on the disturbing “Insidious” film franchise that explores the darkest corners of the paranormal experience and “El Cucuy: The Boogeyman,” a startling, terror-filled maze based on the Latin American legend of the mythical, shape-shifting monster, will feature chilling narration by prolific actor and producer, Danny Trejo.
We had an amazing experience on the red carpet and at “Halloween Horror Nights.” It’s a must visit for Halloween! The dates to experience Halloween Horror nights are: September 21, 27 and 28, October 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31 and November 1, 2. Hours: 7pm to 2am.

I went once to this (in Orlando) when I was in high school. I’m pretty sure these days there is much more going on and much scarier then back then. For that reason along I don’t go LOL. I’m a whimp I don’t do the scary movie thing. I hate being scared!
