Joey King Stands Out In Disney’s Oz As China Girl! #DisneyOz

Hey All!

As Oz-Mania sweeps the country since the release of this amazing film, one character that has captured the hearts of millions has to be China Girl! Voiced by the talented young actress Joey King, the character will both make you laugh and cry.

For those of you who have seen the film, King can also be seen acting in the film as the crippled young girl who asks Oz to make her walk.

King has also been seen in such hit films as The Dark Knight Rises and Crazy, Stupid, Love. She does an amazing job in this new magical tale of Oz. China Girl is a small character with such a huge personality that will be memorable for years to come!

The segment in the film where she pulls out a knife and states she’s made of China and has to defend herself some how has to be one of my favorite scenes in the film.

My colleague and friend Caryn Bailey of RockinMama.net had the amazing opportunity to speak with this very talented and rising star and here is a fun video she captured of the fantastic Joey King discussing her roll China Girl.

In the video, she discusses how “Fun it was to play China Girl” to how “Unique of an opportunity this was” for her to play such a character.

This was the first time she’s done a film of this scale and I have to say she did a wonderful job. She did the job of a seasoned professional. I can only imagine what we will see next for this talented young actress.

Oz is currently the #1 Movie in the world!

I highly recommend you run out and see it to not only see how amazing Joey is, but to see how beautifully this film captured the land of Oz.
