July 4th Fruit & Cake Push Pops!

Hey All!

We officially kicked off summer and BBQ season this weekend with Memorial Day weekend. Now we’re gearing up for non-stop patriotic fun this summer! Next up is going to be July 4th, so we decided to make some tasty treats to celebrate with. Check out these fun July 4th Fruit & Cake Push Pops! They are the perfect yummy and sweet patriotic treat. I can’t wait to make some when we have our July 4th cookout. Who doesn’t love a red, white, and blue cake and fruit dessert for July 4th? I know I do!

Here is how to easily make them! I love that they are NO-BAKE too!

  • 16 oz. Frozen Pound Cake, thawed
  • 8 oz. Whipped Topping
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, chopped
  • Patriotic Sprinkles
  • 6 Plastic Push Pop Containers

First you cut you your strawberries into small pieces. You then cut the pound cake in half lengthwise. Use one of the ends of the push pop containers to cut 12 circles from the cake.

Next insert one of the cake circles into each push pop container making sure to press it down to the bottom.

Next put some of the whipped topping into a plastic baggie, cut the corner off, and pipe a layer over the cake.

You then add a layer of blueberries to each container. Add another cake circle to each one and then a layer of whipped topping again.

Finally add a layer of strawberries to the top.

Add a little dollop of whipped topping and sprinkle the patriotic sprinkles over the top.

That’s it! You’re done! So easy to make right?! You should serve these right away for the best flavor and so your cake doesn’t get mushy or you may refrigerate for an hour max before serving.

These taste best when served freshly made. Just a heads up!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do and enjoy them for July 4th!
