As the new film Jupiter Ascending from the Directors of the Matrix trilogy (The Wachowskis) is soon to hit the big screen, A fabulous make up palette has been released along with it to allow you to look like Mila Kunis in the film as her character Jupiter.

In case you haven’t heard about the film here is a little about it:

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

From the streets of Chicago to far flung galaxies whirling through space, “Jupiter Ascending” is written and directed by the Wachowskis. Award-winning producer Grant Hill, with whom they have collaborated since “The Matrix” Trilogy, is producing, together with Lana Wachowski and Andy Wachowski. Roberto Malerba and Bruce Berman serve as executive producers.

I was lucky enough to snag one of these sold out makeup sets and I wanted to share a little Jupiter Ascending makeup tutorial with you. It’s inspired by the look of Mila’s character as you see below with the big pink shadow eyes.

There is one color on the palette that is called Jupiter. That is the color we’ll mainly use.

You first start out with some Destiny color as a base color and some cosmos under the brow. The white colors will act as a base. You then place some majesty color on the outer part of your eyes. You follow that with Jupiter around the whole lid of the eye. I personally do not like my make up super dark or thick so you can make it as dark as you want with your brush.

You then use a thin slanted brush to outline around the edge of the eye with Jupiter. You then take the eye liner and line the upper eye lid in the thick manner. You can see the photos below for the steps.

You then finish it off with this super cool lip gloss (which lights up by the way). Love it!

And this is my final look below. Again I didn’t want to make it too dark, but you can go darker. I think this is such a fabulous group of eye shadows to play with.
