Hornea con tus amigas y disfruta! Aka for those of you who don’t speak the Spanish, this holiday season The Hershey Company invites you to host a new kind of gathering, perfect for this joyous time of the year. Spend time with family and friends by hosting an horneando juntas, a fun and delicious cookie exchange to help you welcome the upcoming holidays.

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to spread holiday cheer to your friends and family with the gift of freshly baked treats and this time I got the chance to bake up some treats from Hershey! I love to bake especially around the Holidays. I bake cakes, to cupcakes to cookies! I love to bake cookies especially if I’m making a lot of cookies, like for my teens school. It’s cost effective and the cookies taste amazing!

Cookie exchanges are a longstanding tradition in the United States where the host and each of their guests bake and bring a batch of cookies, and then get together to trade and try each kind. After the horneando juntas, everyone will leave with new holiday memories and plenty of cookies to enjoy, share, and even give as gifts to others.

How do you have one of these cookie exchanges you ask? Well you invite your family and friends over for a horneando juntas. Just before your guests are gathered, set the ambiance by baking an extra special batch with HERSHEY’S^® KISSES^® brand chocolates and HERSHEY’S^® Cocoa to fill the house with the delicious scent of cookies fresh from the oven. Learn your closest friends’ family recipes from back home and introduce them to new ones!

I made some Florecitas de Chocolate KISSES^®, delicious cookies topped with HERSHEY’S^® KISSES^® Chocolate. I’m so shocked they came out so well.

I put them on a platter to get the smell going through the house and decorated the plate with some Hershey Kisses.

I got out my cookie exchange kit and cookie boxes. Aren’t they adorable!

I put some cookies in the boxes and got them ready for when my guests arrived.

I think these make great gifts for the holidays.

We traded recipes and cookies and the dogs got some good loving time. lol.

We had a blast! This year, why not start a new tradition? Whip up a plate full of cookies using a recipe from La Cocina de HERSHEY’S^® website and host a cookie exchange!
