Last Minute DIY Twinkie Easter Peeps Mobile!

Hey All!

As you know I’m the Peeps, Twinkies, and Ice Cream Queen. Combine two of those things together and you make one of my favorite tasty treats ever! Check out our super cute and easy to make DIY Twinkie Easter Peeps Mobile! You can whip these up in like 10 minutes flat! They are the perfect quick and easy treat to make for Easter! Super tasty and perfectly themed!

Here is how to make them!

  • 6 Twinkies
  • 8 Peeps in various colors
  • Black Licorice Rope Candy
  • Wilton Candy Melts Drizzle Pouch (White chocolate)
  • 6 Necco Wafer Candies
  • 6 Plain Easter Colored M&Mā€™s
  • Easter Colored Sprinkles

First you cut a small chunk out of the middle of the Twinkie, without cutting through the bottom or the sides. Save these pieces to use the filling that came off with them for later.

Cut about a fourth off from the bottom of each peep.

Place the peeps into the holes of the Twinkies and make a small slit in front of the peep to put a Necco wafer into for the steering wheel.

Take some of the Twinkie filling you saved from those pieces from earlier andĀ  use them as glue to put on the 2 Easter Sprinkle headlights onto the front of each Twinkie.

To make the wheels, roll up a piece of the black licorice (about 8 inches long). To do this, dip your fingers in water and run the licorice between them to wet the licorice, then roll. Let those sit and dry for a few minutes.

Heat the Wilton Candy Pouch per package directions and use it to glue on the 4 licorice tires onto each car. Let all the wheels dry and become secure.

Then you use your chocolate to glue one M&M on the back of the car aka twinkie.

That’s it! You’re done and they are ready to Eat! Enjoy!!

Woot woot! How cute are these folks?!
