Hey All!

It’s such a bummer that Halloween is over, but we’re hitting the road running and moving onto the Thanksgiving and Holiday season. We have a ton of fun content to share, so we’re kicking it off with some easy DIY’s you can make with those Halloween leftovers. If you’re looking for something fun to do with those leftover Halloween pumpkins and candy, check out these leftover Halloween Candy Mini Pumpkin Turkeys! You can use that Halloween candy to make something fun and festive for Thanksgiving!

Who doesn’t love a turkey with candy feathers? I know I do! Here is how to make them!

  • 3 Mini or Small Pumpkins
  • 12 Suckers—Dum Dums or Tootsie Pops
  • 1 Piece Red Felt
  • 1 Piece Orange Felt
  • Googly Eyes
  • Glue
  • Small Phillips Screwdriver

First you cut out 3 triangle shaped beaks from the orange felt and cut out 3 wattles from the red felt. Just make the sizes your choice according to the pumpkin sizes.

Then you glue the eyes, beaks, and wattles on each pumpkin. On the top of each pumpkin behind the stems, poke 4-5 holes about an inch apart with your screwdriver.

Lastly you push a sucker aka lollipop into each hole about halfway down the sucker stick.

Make as many of these as you’d like and put them on your tables for a fun and easy Thanksgiving centerpiece!

Hope you enjoy these Leftover Halloween Candy Mini Pumpkin Turkeys as much as I do!
