DIY Light-Up Mickey Pumpkin Decoration!

Are you obsessed with Mickey Pumpkins for Halloween? Check out how to make this cute DIY Light-Up Mickey Pumpkin Decoration!

Hey All!

I don’t know about you, but when ever I see a pumpkin or Jack-O-Lantern all I can think of is how can I turn it into a Mickey Pumpkin! It’s all I see now! As soon as I saw this little wooden light up pumpkin at Michaels, I immediately knew I wanted to turn it into a DIY Light-Up Mickey Pumpkin Decoration!

It goes perfectly on my Disney Halloween tiered trays! It’s the perfect size! It also would look adorable on any tables, hutches, or shelves. It will add some adorable spooky fun to any part of your home.

It’s super easy to make as well. I saw Shop Disney had something like this that they were selling and I always thought, I could make that. When I saw this light up wooden Jack-O-Lantern, I knew I could!

Here is how I made it!

The pumpkin comes with the light and battery already installed. You literally just have to decorate the pumpkin and turn it on.

You start by painting the pumpkin orange all over. I didn’t paint the inside because you don’t need to. I painted the front, back and side pieces.

You also paint two wooden circles black. They will be the ears.

Next you cut out some green stems and a leaf for the top of the pumpkin.

Let all the paint dry and then glue on the stem and leaf.

You then glue on the ears. Cut out a little 2 inch oval from some black vinyl and stick it where the nose should be.

That’s it! You’re done! How cute is it folks!

I’M OBSESSED WITH HIM! Place it where ever you’d like and turn on the light!

He will add a little glow to your Disney Halloween tiered trays or to you halloween decor.

I can’t wait to use him year after year! He’s definitely a DIY that you can use over and over each Halloween!

I hope you love this little DIY Light-Up Mickey Pumpkin Decoration as much as I do!
