Hey All!
Marvel Studios Animation releases on Disney Plus its second animated project I Am Groot. This time a series of shorts (5 shorts to be specific) centered on the lovable character Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy films. Vin Diesel reprises his role as the voice of Groot for each episode and Bradley Cooper does return as the voice of Rocket for one episode.
Each episode is very short, approximately four to five minutes in length and each one family friendly, fun, funny, and flawlessly crafted using the same technology used to animate Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The episodes are not linear and do not follow a straight story, they are simply slices of life from various points in Groot’s young life; some clearly occurring between adventures from the films and some having no specific references to indicate where they occur in the timeline.
Given the episodes are shorts and there are only five, there is not much to say other than they can be enjoyed by the whole family and maintain the spirit and humor done associated with “Baby Groot” from the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
The shorts do not contain any secrets or spoilers that lead to the forthcoming Guardians film and merely are meant to stand alone as a bit of fun.
