Mr.Pink Is Celebrating National Dog Week!

Hey All!

Did you know it’s National Dog Week? I had no idea our fur babies get celebrated for a whole week from September 20th-26th. I tend to celebrate the cuteness of our Mr. Pink everyday, but the kind folks at Beneful sent us a bag of goodies to make our fun days together all the more fun. We normally have a routine in which we follow each day, but today I will show how we’re celebrating National Dog Week along with how I spend the day with my furry BFF. Like every day, we start our day with a morning walk. We normally come home and give Mr. Pink his breakfast treats. Today was different as he got this big bag of goodies instead to celebrate National Dog Week. He was very excited about this as you can see below.

When Mr. Pink gets excited he begins to dance aka kick out his legs and bounce. You can see this in the picture below. We call it his happy dance and I’m sure he’s extra happy because it’s National Dog Week.

With the goodies we got, we of course had to go through them to see what Mr. Pink would love to eat. We found a bunch of tasty treats for Mr. Pink. Instead of wanting the treats, he wanted to play with the squeeky ball.

When Mr. Pink wants to play, we play with him! He wanted this ball BAD!

He was going to paw it out of my hand if he could. We like to keep him as active as he has some bad hips and he needs to stay active to prevent them from getting sore. With all the excitement and play, it was time to cause some mischief according to Mr. Pink. He got into the samples of Beneful which we were trying to save. He got a few kibbles and we let him since it is National Dog week and he can get some extra treats this week.

We then gave him one of the Beneful Healthy Smile treats to munch on. All this celebrating and playing works up an appetite in Mr. Pink.

This is usually how our days go, but we did a little more play and treat time since this is his special week. We took Mr. Pink on some extra walks to give him some more time with his doggy friends on our block. I’m sure he wants to celebrate his week with friends. After all the actives of the day, Mr. Pink wants his dinner. Mealtime is always Mr.Pink’s favorite time and it is also a great way to celebrate with him this special week.
