Hey All!
When it comes to summer drinks and cocktails, I like them sweet and colorful. There is one brand that is the perfect combination of both and that is Alizé. I’ve always loved it! Alizé was the first drink I had when I turned 21 years old. We go way back! In case you’ve never tried it, Alizé is a line of premium liqueurs imported from France. Alizé Passion infuses premium French vodka with passion fruit nectar and all-natural flavors found in the world’s most exotic regions. Alizé is made to just twist, pour over ice and serve or mixed in refreshingly bright cocktails. Like I said, it’s my perfect combo. I can definitely drink it by itself or as part of a cocktail. It tastes amazing either way! In the summer, I tend to drink it more often as part of a cold cocktail drink recipe. I always love to make fun drinks with Alizé to cool me down on those very hot summer days.
It’s available nationally in three flavors (750ml bottles):
- Gold Passion
- Red Passion (It blends sweet, vivid passion fruit and crisp, tart cranberries.)
- Bleu Passion
Each bottle only costs $19.99! That’s a decent price for a bottle of colorful yummy cocktail goodness. I was thrilled to be sent the Bleu Passion and Gold Passion flavors to enjoy. The Gold Passion blends the intensely flavored and aromatic juices of exotic passion fruit. The Bleu Passion is an infusion of delectable passion fruit, fresh cherries and a hint of ginger. The French do know how to make some tasty flavored Vodka.
I wanted to try some new drink recipes with the Alizé Passion and I was thrilled to find two that I’m in love with!
The first recipe is the “Fresh Passion” drink recipe. I hacked the recipe slightly by using Ginger Ale instead of Ginger Beer and instead of a highball glass I used my flamingo glasses. I’ve been dying to break out my flamingo glasses and a summer drink was the perfect time to do it.
I also fresh squeezed my lime juice right into the glasses as you can see in the picture below. You can make this drink using the substitutes I did and following all the other instructions of the recipe above. You can also make the drink recipe exactly as it appears in the recipe above. It’s your choice as to how you’d like your drink to taste.
Either way, I’m sure it will taste great! It was super easy and quick to make. All it took to make was some muddling of some mint leaves and mixing the drink ingredients. That’s all!
I poured my finished “Fresh Passion” cocktail into my flamingo glasses and added some mint leaves and a flamingo drink stirrer for garnish.
I sipped on one of these yesterday with my husband once we had some down time. Even my husband enjoys this drink!
If this colorful tasty drink doesn’t scream perfect summer drink, I don’t know what does!
I couldn’t let the Bleu Passion just sit there collecting dust. Of course not! Today I decided to try a cocktail called the “Bleu Breeze”! Hey…There is nothing wrong with drinking fruity cocktails two days in a row because it’s super hot out!
This one is even simpler to make since it only has three ingredients as you can see the recipe below.
The only thing I added to the recipe was I squeezed some lime into the glass before I poured the cocktails into the glasses.
I then sliced up some round pieces of lime and used them for garnish on my glasses with a pineapple drink stirrer.
This is the perfect drink to lounge by the pool with on those hot summer days. You can enjoy it with your glass filled with ice or you can freeze your glasses and have a little bit of ice (like I did) to make sure it stays nice and cold as you sip.
Those are my two favorite Alizé Passion summer cocktail recipes! I hope you try them and enjoy them as much as I do. Cheers to lots of tasty and colorful Alizé Passion cocktails through out summer! They are perfectly Brite & Bubbly…
Remember you can only drink these cocktails if you’re 21 and over and you should never EVER drink and drive. Please drink responsibly people! Just saying…
These are just some of the fabulous and easy recipes you can make with Alizé Passion! For more fun drink recipes with these amazing liquers check out www.alize.com.
