There is nothing that I would love more than to spend the holidays with our entire family this year. Unfortunately due to our wedding (which was very costly) no one can really afford to fly out for the holidays. If I could have one wish granted to me this year it would be for my family to be able to fly out and come spend the holidays with us. They are all dying to come over to see our new apartment and our tasty treats tree which you can see in the picture above. I know it’s probably not going to happen this year, but I’m very grateful to have had them come for our wedding.
The holidays shouldn’t be all about what I want or wish for honestly. It shouldn’t be about receiving gifts and how much you’ll be getting under the tree either. They should be about giving to others in need and doing things for others who may be less fortunate during the holidays. This time of year can be really rough on some people and animals too. I always make my friends and family practice the art of giving during the holidays.
A little can truly go a long way. Whether it’s donating to our local animal shelter or donating to an organization that will provide gifts or toys to kids and adults in need, we do it every year. It’s a holiday tradition to essentially help someone get their wish of having a gift for the holidays.
It’s great that UPS is doing the same with their #WishesDelivered campaign!
Every package that ends up on a doorstep started from a wish, and UPSers work tirelessly to deliver everyday wishes throughout the holiday season and beyond. This season, UPS wants to share these magical stories and also make it more special with your help!
For every wish submitted with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100K! Wishes can automatically be submitted to the #WishesDelivered site by simply posting the wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, or going direct to the #WishesDelivered site and submitting there. Be sure to share your wishes on all social channels in addition to submitting on the #WishesDelivered site.

I so hope that they get to the whole $100K in donations. I love that they’re doing this!
It’s great to know corporations are also trying to make a difference this time of year. I have the funds they raise make many wishes come true.
