I recently had the opportunity to try the Jawbone UP in size Small. I’ve been looking forward to trying this for some time as I’m a digital pedometer hoarder so to speak. I was given the Black UP for review and I have worn it for the past few weeks.

The Jawbone UP is unlike any regular pedometer. The UP tracks your sleep activity, steps, calorie intake and more. It tracks all this with the Jawbone UP wrist sensor and free mobile app that you can download to your iPhone or iPod. This device plugs in through the headphone jack on your phone and syncs it’s information to your app in this way. It does not wirelessly sync it’s information to the app. This was my only issue with the devise. I wish I didn’t have to constantly plug it in to get my progress for the day. Besides that one minor detail the UP gives you meaningful, personalized insights so you can make lasting improvements to your everyday life.
