Hey All!
I’ve lived in Los Angeles now for the past 6 years and I have to say I’ve come to really #LoveThisCity! My family and I have been welcomed with open arms by this city and I feel that it has allowed me to grow and experience so many amazing things that I couldn’t have experienced any place else. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always be a born and raised New Yorker and New York is also a magical city, but there is so much that I’ve seen and done in Los Angeles that has become some of our favorite city traditions and experiences! To me personally, being able to live in a City that is as family friendly as Los Angeles is Priceless.
For example being able to visit a piece of Disney History and actually get the opportunity to eat at the World Famous Club 33 is something you could not do any place else other than in Los Angeles!
The fact that I can drive to Disneyland is a major perk for me for living in Los Angeles!
We would have to fly to get to the magic of Disney back east and here in Los Angeles we can drive to Disneyland and visit the original park Walt Disney used to roam himself. It’s become a family tradition to visit during the Holidays and experience the Holidays at Disneyland. It’s such a beautiful place for the Holidays as you can see in the picture above!
We not only get to have Disneyland around the corner, we also get to have Universal Studios Hollywood around the corner and since we’re huge movie buffs, living near the movie studios that have created some of our favorite films is priceless.
It’s also become a family tradition to visit Universal for the Holidays for Grinchmas and on Halloween for Halloween Horror Nights! It too is such an amazing time that we’re privileged to be able to experience living her in Los Angeles.
Living near the world Famous Hollywood Sign and town also has it’s amazing perks as well. We loveeee visiting Hollywood to see movies, the Hollywood walk of fame, and our new favorite candy store called Sweet Store LA that has it’s very own Willie Wonka Chocolate Factory inside! As you can see in my pic below, they even have Oompa Loompas there some days!
It’s such a unique place and is truly the worlds greatest candy store and just another thing that is priceless about living in Los Angeles!
Besides shopping and theme parks we also love the culture and arts of Los Angeles! There are so many amazing museums like the Getty or the Ronald Reagan Museum and Library (seen below) that you can visit and see so many amazing exhibits.
We recently visited the Ronald Reagan Museum and Library and learned so much about our former President and also got the amazing opportunity to see the fabulous Treasures of Disney Archives! It was such an amazing experience and the perfect place to visit for the WHOLE family.
And last but not least the Los Angeles Convention center always has amazing events going on all year long that we love to visit! Most recently we went to the LA Car Show! We got to see so many amazing cars like this DC Comic Flash Car made for Kia!
