Nike Plus Worked Me Out at The Nike Vault! #Nike+

Hey All!

Last week I realized how out of shape I was when I was invited to check out the latest Nike sneakers that use the amazing Nike+ technology and fitness program at the Nike Vault store at the Staples Center here in sunny Los Angeles, CA. I had a blast learning about Nike+ and getting to try it out for myself. Even if it almost killed me. I swear I think I had a mini heart attack at this event as my chest and entire body were hurting for days after it! It was a real eye opener to see just how out of shape I am. AKA I have to get to the gym ASAP! I digress…

We were shown all thee amazing features of how Nike+ works.

From the pressure sensors that are inside the sneakers to how the app connects to the Nike+ sensors that are able to detect the speed and how well the person is doing in their work out and Nike Fuel.

The Nike+ training app only works with iphones and ipods unfortunately, but when you purchase the Nike+ equipped sneakers you get the app and senors. The App also includes a virtual personal training regimen so to speak, video tutorials, and training sessions modeled after your favorite athletes like Lebron James and Manny Pacquiao.

At this event they had us compete against each other doing these celeb athlete based workouts that were only about a minute each!

I tell you those 1 minute sessions were killer! I mean I was sweating with my heart about to burst out of my chest it was beating so hard. I don’t recommend just going into these work out if you are out of shape. Always consult your doctor before starting any work out I say. But these little drills will push you hard and work you out!

Even being out of shape I still came in 3rd.

Not so bad if I don’t say so myself.

If you’re looking for a great home work out check out The Nike+ Sport Packs which is available now at Nike’s online store.
