Our 90’s Themed Hocus Pocus Halloween Party!

Hey All!

I’m so thrilled to finally share our fun 90’s Themed Hocus Pocus Halloween Party! I have been all about the 90’s colors and Costumes this year and I wanted to take our Halloween party up like 10 notches this year. Thanks to the amazing folks at Anagram Balloons I was definitely able to do that! They sent over all these amazing balloons to create this very large and in charge Halloween eek-tastic balloon installation. It’s epic folks! Epic in a good way as my hubby said.

We have like 9 foot high or taller ceilings in my apartment and this reaches all the way to the top of the ceiling. That’s how big it is!

Can you tell by the pics I’m very excited and pleased with how it came out? I am obsessed with it!

It took me like a half day to get everything set up because I of course had to stop to take care of the baby, but I plowed through and got it done!

I love all the bright colors and fun iridescent balloons.

The boom box balloon just screams 90’s to me! I’m obsessed with it and may leave it inflated for the rest of my life!

I think it’s the perfect backdrop for my table of equally colorful fun tasty Halloween treats.

I it’s the perfect mix of fun and spooky. We actually made those eyeball and monster eye balloons ourselves!

I’ll show you how simple it is to make them in this super long post! Get ready! It’s going to be a very long and detailed post folks!

Ok so we’ll start with how to make the eyeball and monster eye balloons.

First you use this FREE PRINTABLE Template and your Cricut cutting machine to cut out the eyeballs from black stick on vinyl. You just upload the images to the Cricut Design Space to cut them. Or you can use the template and cut them by hand.

Next you stick the eyeballs to the center of matte white or silver balloons.

You also stick the monster eye shapes to the center of your green balloons.

That’s all you have to do to make these! I told you it was super simple!

I hung the eyeball balloons between every other balloon in the installation.

I made a pattern of ghosts, eyeballs, and colored balloons.

I also included character shape balloons like these ghosts. I call this my mama and her baby ghosts.

It looks like a mama and her little babies around her! At least it does to me…

The daddy ghost is on the floor at the base of the installation.

At the bottom of the installation we have our rainbow and ombre Orbz balloons, which I love!

We have mini bats, spiders and ghosts sprinkled through out the installation.

We also have these amazing purple matte star balloons that give it the best pop of color.

This amazing and fun boo balloon is at the base of the installation on the other side.

The Eeek balloon at the center has spooky eyes on it, so it fits perfectly in the installation.

We filled in any open areas with these clear orange and pink balloons…

We also had iridescent stars and little bats and spiders filling holes in the installation.

I literally planned every inch of this installation and I still ended up free styling the design as I went.

Either way, I love how it turned out and it’s a great statement piece you can easily make for your own party. I hung it all with tape folks. Yes tape!

This too can be yours for Halloween! It’s not too late to make it!

For the table I put this fun “I put a spell on you” banner from my friend Kara of Kailo Chic.

I also had her matching plates which are so 90’s themed and perfect for our party!

I mean how cute are these plates folks?

The grid pattern screams 90’s!

I also had these colorful plates from We Love Sundays!

They are a fun Australian brand that I’ve worked with for years and wanted to send some plates and napkins over for our party. I was happy to include them as well.

How fun are these pink ruffled plates?

We had lots of treats like these fun Krispy Kreme spooky donuts…

I placed them on this super cute spider web cake stand I got from Michaels.

You can see the little spider hangs from the cake stand and it’s beyond cute. It’s only like $7!

We had lots of candy in cute candy dishes.

And these cute mini pumpkins with battery operated tea lights inside. I got both at the 99 Cents Only Store!

I also got these cute beakers and straws at the 99 cents only store.

I made a tiered tray since I’m obsessed with those right now. It had this fun sign I got from the 99 cents only store, some fun chocolate covered pretzels and witch broom stirrers in a cup.

I also had some other spooky decorations and candy on it.

As a favor for our guests, I got these fun colored pumpkin candy buckets from Target so they can take one and go trick-or-treating with.

I was also inspired by my friend Crystal from a Pumpkin and a Princess to make this amazing Halloween themed tasty treats Charcuterie like board.

I filled mine with cheese balls…

Chocolate eyeballs, peeps, chocolate skulls…

Chocolate Foil Pumpkins, Marshmallow Pumpkins, Candy Corn and Candy Corn Marshmallows.

Macaraons, M&M’s, Candy bones, sugar cookies…

Gummy eyeballs…

Chocolate skulls…

Marshmallow Peeps…

Lollipops…

And more! It was overflowing with tasty treats as you can see. I added little fake snakes and bone hands for added spooky fun.

And that covers it all I think!
