Hey All!
We love our dogs and we always want them to be healthy and tick and flee free. I hate flees with a passion and ticks are like my worst nightmare. If you have dogs, you know that flee and tick prevention can be costly as it has to be applied to your pets once a month for protection. I was super thankful to be introduced to PetArmor thanks to the Mom It Forward network.
I have dogs that won’t go in the house. They are rescue dogs and weren’t house trained. They were trained to only do their business outside, so needless to say we have to walk the dogs every three to four hours. Our dogs love to get in grass and near trees which is the perfect place to catch flees, especially during flee season here in Los Angeles.
We get hit pretty hard here in Los Angeles so I’m always making sure we don’t bring any home. I couldn’t wait to try PetArmour. You simply take out one vial of PetArmor and squeeze it into their skin.
I like to make sure the fur is spread with a comb so that their skin is visible and the vile completely seeps into their skin. I got a 3 month supply of PetArmor and thus far it’s worked great! Our dogs also love to be taken on hikes and to dog parks and PetArmor has kept them flee and tick free. We’ve had no issues with our dogs being on PetArmor.
If you don’t know any about how ticks work, the adult stage deer tick actually begins its feeding activity about the time of first frost (or early October throughout its range), and it will latch onto any larger host (cat to human) any day that the temperature is near or above freezing.
Adult female deer ticks can transmit Lyme Disease. Another tick that carries Lyme disease is the Blacklegged tick. The adult stages of this tick begin to become active as the season changes from summer to fall. Fleas and Ticks are dangerous to both pets and humans. Ticks carry deadly diseases such as Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. PetArmor is an effective solution for flea and tick protection for both dogs and cats. It KILLS the four major types of ticks including those that carry Lyme disease. PetArmor contains the same No. 1 vet-recommended active ingredient Fipronil found in other flee and tick prevention products, and provides the same protection against adult fleas and ticks but is available for significantly less.
It’s nice to have an affordable option that works just as good as other brands.
This means more tasty treats for our pups for Halloween instead of spending all the money on flee and tick prevention! Doesn’t this Mickey Pooch deserve some treats? It’s great to know we don’t have to worry about flees and ticks when we’re trick or treating this year with our pups thanks to PetArmor!

Thanks for the reminder. I need to give my doggy his monthly treatment.
Fleas were at their worst this year and other brands we tried just didn’t cut it and the fleas were still on them. Thanks for the great review and now I’ll try this brand next! Happy holidays! 🙂
