Thanks to the amazing folks at Mitsubishi, We recently had the amazing opportunity to take an amazing new 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander on a road trip up north for a little family reunion. It kicked off our summer road trip season and I couldn’t have asked for a better car to take our trip in. I was thrilled to test drive the Mitsubishi Outlander for a week. It’s a gorgeous car and it’s one of the most affordable seven-seat SUVs on the market. Itās also available as a plug-in hybrid, if you’re looking for a car that’s more ec0-friendly.
It fit my little family perfectly with plenty of room to spare. We don’t travel light especially now that we have a baby to add to the mix. We have to bring along car seats, strollers, travel cribs, baby bags and our luggage now-a-days.
The 2019 Outlander has a third-row of seating for family, friends, and everything in-between. It has a 2.4L MIVEC engine that gets up to 30 highway MPG.
That’s especially great when you’re taking a long road trip and want to save on gas. The more money we save the better! Babies are expensive and so is the cost of gas these days. You want a car like this one that is fuel efficient and will get you the most drive time especially during the summer months. That’s that time of year when we travel the most. I’m sure lots of families travel the most around summer time. School is out and the family vacations are calling!
We kicked off our summer vacation with this great road trip and as you can see below, It fit our car seat perfectly.
It also fit or luggage, bags, stroller and even a cooler perfectly. It has a great amount of storage space for a family road trip.
I particularly love the fact that I can press a button to shut the trunk space. That’s helpful when you’re holding a baby in your arms.
We had our road trip music and entertainment set with the 7ā Smartphone Link Display. It had SiriusXM radio, which has my favorite station 80’s on 8! It plays non-stop 80’s music. The screen also makes switching playlists, getting directions, and safely accessing apps with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ simple.
The car also had a push button start…
And controls on the steering wheel to control answering calls, the radio, and more.
When the weather gets cold again, it has heated seats too! I think that feature is amazing because it can get pretty called in the winter time.
If you need to plug in and charge your devices, you don’t have to bring chargers with you. You can use the usb ports that are built into the car!
As I mentioned before, this car really did have everything we needed for our road trip. All the features and the great gas mileage made our trip smooth sailing and so much fun.
