Our Favorite Moments From Our Family Movie Night!

Hey all!

I’m sure you all remember my previous post where I announced we were heading to an outdoor movie-screening event. It was held last week at The Grove in Los Angeles and it was called the US Weekly’s Family Movie Night. It was so much fun to watch a movie outside with the family. It’s almost like being at a little drive-in movie. It was more than just an outdoor movie screening. There were snacks like this fabulous Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn cart! It was serving free popcorn to everyone! There was also a photo booth and other things for kids to do.

Let me share some of my favorite moments from the US Weekly Family Movie Night event. The outdoor cinema atmosphere was so family friendly. There was enough popcorn for everyone to munch on the whole night!

The popcorn stand was so fabulous and vintage looking. It was almost like being at a little movie festival.

Can you tell I was excited to get my hands on some of this Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn? When I got my hands on this cup, it was a very exciting moment!

There was face painting, which the kids loved…

There was at least an hour before the movie started, which allowed families to have time to enjoy all the extra activities that were available.

There was also a photo booth, which took animated photos and also printed out photos for families to take home. It’s always so much fun to capture silly moments with the family at a photo booth.

The main attraction was getting to hang out and play on some lovely green grass at The Grove park and enjoy a fun movie on this big screen.

We held our spot to see the movie on the green grass while the kidlets enjoyed the festivities taking place before the movie.

It was a very small area, so you could keep your eyes on your kids wherever they went. I could sit back, relax, and enjoy my Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn as we waited for the movie to start. Once the sun set, it was movie time!

Spending time with the family and enjoying a great movie with your favorite snacks is what a family movie night is all about. This was the perfect way to spend an evening together.
