Hey All!

I had the amazing experience to test drive a Mazda3 sedan with Skyactiv for my recent trip to Las Vegas for the Blogalicious 12! This amazing car gets 40 MPG on the highway! I couldn’t wait to ride it as soon as they delivered it to me!

I couldn’t help but notice that the front of the car looks like a little face and it looked like it was smiling at me! I was happy to see it too. Maybe I’m crazy, but do you see a face there? I do!

It had everything everything you could want in a car that you would want on a road trip, like Sirius Satellite Radio and a built in navigation system so I don’t get lost on the trek to Nevada.

It of course had all the other snazzy features I would need like Auxiliary to connect my iPhone, plenty of lights, FM Radio, CD player, Air Conditioning, and more.

It of course had a place to plug in my car phone charger.

Cup holders that I mostly used to hold my phone and water on the drive…

And an amazing sounding Bose sound system! It seriously sounds amazing!

It was a compact car on the outside but very specious on the inside. It was the perfect size for me as I’m a small woman who is only 5’2. Taller larger males would probably not fit in this car. When I say Taller I mean 6 foot and above! But you can make that decision for yourself of course!

It has plenty of Airbags in the car for added safety as well as a compass built into the rear view mirror. I thought that was fantastic because you need to know which direction you’re going especially when you’re on a road trip.

What was also amazing is I wouldn’t have to take my eyes off the road as my steering wheel has controls for the radio as well as to answer my phone should any calls come through. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth to the car so you can have hands free talking and hear your callers through the amazing Bose speaker system!

Another feature, which was probably my most favorite feature on the car, was the alert system on the side mirrors. When you’re going to switch lanes a little picture of a car and a beeping noise appear on your side mirrors to alert you if a car is next to you or coming up on you so you don’t have a collision while you’re switching lanes! How amazing is that!

I took to the open road on my way to Vegas baby! Yes I was bad and took this picture while driving! But the car stays very steady and straight while you drive!

The steering is very precise and the brakes are amazing on this car! But the most import thing on this car is the Skyactiv as it allows you to save gas! Like it was really shocking to get from where I live in California to Las Vegas, NV, as in another state and only use HALF A TANK OF GAS!!!!! I kid you not! I only used half a tank of gas and got there in about 4 hours! It was an amazing day!

I did drive with my The Queen of Swag Magnets on the car to turn it into the Mazda3 Queen of Swagmobile as I drove, so everyone would know The Queen of Swag is Driving a Mazda!

And when I was coming back I’m happy to say the trunk was filled to the brims with all my luggage and all the swag I got at the convention! The trunk space is very large and as you can see can fit a tone inside easily!

I loved driving this Mazda3 with Skyactiv! It’s truly an amazing car that will save you a ton of money on gas, keep you looking sexy on the road, as well as make you smile every time you see your car smiling back at you!
