Hey All!
As you know Me and My family LOVE THE MUPPETS! Love is an understatement! So I’m so excited that on March 20th Disney is releasing THE MUPPETS on Blu-ray & DVD! And it’s jam packed with all sorts of great special features. They have different editions of the BluRay that you can purchase and one is cleverly called the Wocka Wocka edition! I was lucky enough to be given an advanced review copy and I have to say I’m surprised the BluRay hasn’t been broken since it’s been played so much. The kids love singing along to the song’s especially the opening number, “I’ve got everything that I need!”
It’s so cute to hear my 2 year old nephew try to sing along with Jason Segal and the Muppets. He basically hums since he’s heard the Melody so many times. He tries to make it sound like the song. He loves to sing and dance like nobodies business at 2! And being that there is a lot of singing and funny Muppets on the screen he loves it! The rest of the family loves the new Muppet Walter and of course their favorite is Kermit! We’ve even made Kermit cupcakes in the past. And yes those are Muppet cut out hand puppets.
The BluRay includes of course great Bonus materials like bloopers, aka possibly the longest blooper real for a Muppet movie ever, a making-of featurette and the all-new Disney Intermission Blu-ray feature with the Muppets taking over the screen every time you stop the disc! I so love that feature since you can essentially pause the Blu-Ray to lets say go to the bathroom and the Muppets continue to entertain the kids on the screen while your away! How cool is that!
The Wocka Wocka BluRay set also comes with the soundtrack that you can download in full so you can sing with your kids in the car and any activity book inside! As you can see we couldn’t wait to get this one open! We watched it the day we got it in the mail and we haven’t stopped watching it since!
